A wildlife emergency means that you have a wild animal who needs medical care immediately. In order to get the animal into care as quickly as possible, you should call the appropriate licensed rehabilitation facility right away. Local rehab facilities are listed below.

Please note that the Gorman Nature Center does not raise, rehabilitate or release injured or orphaned wild animals. It is illegal to leave animals at the Gorman Nature Center before or after business hours, or to release animals on park property. If you are unsure whether the animal you've found needs assistance, visit our Found An Animal page for more information.
